It's times like these that i truly embrace the beauty and wonder of life. Waking up to blankets of snow outside my window these past couple of mornings has been one of the most exciting experiences of my life. Living in australia for the past ten years has only intensified my love for it's beauty.
Despite the severe weather warnings, rachel, georgia and i decided to journey to hyde park for a mini shoot and play. Words cannot describe how magical it felt to actually be wandering around this park from afternoon to dusk. I felt like i had been transported into a Charles Dicken's novel, or had stumbled upon narnia.
Although these photos do not do it's beauty justice, i hope that they manage to express a little of the magic i felt. Snow is a beautiful blanket that casts a spell on everything it touches.

you should go down to crystal palace park if you get a chance... it has dinosaurs made by the victorians...so they all look like freaky giant lizards! it's really pretty though down there, especially in the snow :)
